Whatever the sheep's got, Sandy wants.

Oh she is purdy!!!

I am going to put some hostas, tiger-like-lilies, and irises in the run to get big and beautiful for next year... Will any of these be an issue? Will the chickens eat all my flowers?

The chickens decimated my hostas last year. I'm not sure about the lilies or irises, I'll have to check.

I got another 101 gram egg today! Almost the size of a tennis ball.

I saw a lot of raptors today surveying my yard while the birds where out ranging, one flock had to have had 12 or so birds in it. Not sure what they were but they were almost as big as a turkey vulture. I also saw a few of those soaring around with the hawks/eagles or whatever they were.
Must be the peak migration time of year for the thumb of Michigan, there have been quite a few in the sky the last 2 weeks.
I don't let the birds out of their pens unless I am around to kind of keep an eye on them.
Already lost a duck to a suspected hawk/eagle a few weeks ago

What do you feed your chickens? I understand that part of the size is due to the breed, but the rest must be dependent of the feed. Can you show me a feed tag, and also share what extras you supply your birds (treats, greens, etc.)

Cuz really, THAT"S ENORMOUS!!!!!

Need more detail................. are the others vaccinated, did you get the giants together, are they raspy, are they pooping normal, ANYTHING different at all??? I hope someone is able to help you better. That's so sad and frustrating.
No none were vaccinated, no the giants came from different places. No everything is normal my son says that is. He sits out with his flock daily so I think he would know if they were different, but I really don't know I need to take a trip to his house but I don't want to bring whatever it is to my flock. But he was here yesterday roofing a new coop for me. The roo did die, so sad he sat around my house after roofing because he didn't want to see him die, he loved that young roo, he would greet me son like a dog then lay across his feet, awwwww I hate this
