Jayne: It's Diana . You met me in Frankenmuth! The secret is "to whom should the wine & food quote be attributed?" It isn't me! Not that creative; I'm afraid.

I think Miss_Jayne was replying to your post BCB and saying hi to WylieFarms (Sarah). I think anyways!

I scored some cherry Vodka at our Christmas party gift exchange. SSsssoooo good. Mixed it with Sprite.
Concretefarms-I don't know if I would put whiskey in gravy, but the Honey-Whiskey ice cream looks awesome

HA! that is so funny! i was saying hi to to Wylie Farms!

I was sick through new years eve and day. Slept 26 hours...hubby was counting!

We are only $84.25 away from our fundraising goal to go to Honduras in 5 weeks!!!

We have had some issues within our group of 24 people going. There are 3 teenagers going that are spoiled kids and the parents don't make them mind...the 2 girls were offended that I asked them to be quiet during the last meeting...the one mom made a huge deal about it. She met with me saying I was sinning and all this other garbage. So I met with the girls and told them I was sorry if I offended them, they appoligied too for taking the roll of the victim they said.

The 3rd teen is a boy and is dating one of the teenage girls....they just started dating and they cannot keep their hands off each other...huge problem going on a mission trip with the church!

There is also a 8 year old boy going who does what he wants when he wants...huge problem going to a foriegn country. The parents don't want anyone telling their kids what to do.

We leave in 5 weeks, money raised so far is under $12,000.00 that is less than 1/2 of the money raised...it is $1000.00 per person.

So I called and talked to the lady who handles a lot of the stuff for the trip and our pastor. They both agree with my concerns and our pastor is going to write a letter to the families explaining that if the money isn't raised by this date, then the plane tickets will be cancelled...the church cannot pay for people to go.

The pastor is also going to address behavior and expecations of the teens and adults going.

There are 4 other kids going too that are not an issue. They sit through our meetings and particiapate where the other 4 goof off and don't behave. the parents say nothing to the kids at all. I told the one mom during the meeting to look and pay attention to them, but she never talked to them.

I am praying that the 'lovebirds' and the 8 year old don't attend the mission trip. I can see so many problems if they do. I am hoping that the money isn't raised or that the pastor talks to them and tells them they aren't going this year.

Thanks for reading my rant.

Sarah

at our church, we have a hands off rule. also, no girls in boys rooms and vice versa on any trips. anyone found to break the rules is sent home IMMEDIATELY at their own expense. we sign paperwork and it is all in black and white.

Young and can't keep their hands off each other.

I remember those days.

That was a loooong time ago.

As far as cooking with booze.

I always grill burgers, brats, steaks or chicken with a cold barley pop.

I use it as a form of exercise.

12 oz. curls....when I want to go for the burn, I ramp it up to 40 oz. presses.

It don't seem to do much for the beer belly though.
