I sent a email asking if it was elevated, that way I could just back my trailer under it.

If it took 6 men to lift it I know I can't lift it by myself ( yeah, I know I'm strong, but....)so that might be the dealbreaker.

Once I had it home I can get it off with one of my farm tractors.....waiting for a return email......

if you use the rollers, it will take two people max. you just heave the front up with a hand cart or the two guys then roll the rollers under and push. it's like butter!

ooooh, i hope you are able to get it! perfect for some incubated babies!

I brought this one home about 7 years ago, needed a new roof and paint but it was free.....and heavy. Wife keeps her gardening stuff in it. Maybe she'd take the playhouse and then I could use this for chickens.....

We have moved a couple of sheds this year that we have either got free or good deals on, to use for chickens. We are close and "cheep" labor!! Just give a shout if you need a hand Steve, I can bring extras!!

Hi All,
It is still snowing, good ole Michigan. I have a cute hubby too. He is tall and skinny, I get to be the short chubby one. We have never cooked with beer or wine, but it sounds really good.
Cute grandson there also. We have 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, and a great grandson due in February. And I don't think I am that old!!!! They sure are fun to spoil though.
Did you hear about all this super cold weather next week? Yuck!!! I too am ready for spring. Come on sun!!! Myrna

I think what I am going to do, is use part of my hog barn (pictured here before completly done, need to get a done pic) I need room for 30 cornishX for 6 weeks or so, and I'm thinking I'll have a spare pen for that time.

Gosh 2 pics of my place in the same day/thread.

According to our local meteorologist, Michigan is going to be nailed with some extremely, extremely cold Arctic air and blizzard-strength winds next Tuesday and Wednesday. It's probably going to be a good time for the chickens to spend all day in the coop.

Here's a link to his blog in case you're a bit of a weather geek like me and would like the details: http://blogs.woodtv.com/2009/01/07/coldest-air-of-the-season/

Sure is a pretty morning. Got to go shovel a path to the chickens, check feed and water. Looks like we've got a lot more snow headed our way for tomorrow. This sure is starting to be a long winter. Stay warm. Sam
