There's possibly a chick/hatching egg swap being planned/organized by someone. I'm not at liberty to say who's doing it, but things are in the works. I absolutely can't wait to meet all of you! All of you have become my 3rd family...Miss_Jayne's family is my 2nd.

Well, I think we need some sunrise and coffee pictures about now. These laggards need to get in shape!

I can see it now, just like at home with the kids before school, I will be cooking at the crack of dawn and they will be ignoring the rooster crow, sleeping beside the trail, snoring in the back of the wagons till 8, if we let them..... Good thing I will have my cast iron pans to bang on

Morning all! If you want to swing the wagon train up to the UP, I'll make some breakfast for all of you. Not only do I've have venison steaks and eggs, we've got a Giant Chicken statue here in town to gawk at. Also got a couple of horses that would be willing to pull a hay wagon if you want.

I have been up since 5:30
Gone and exersiced and back
shoveled the snow
checked email and now here
off to make some vittles for the youngens

may have to figure out getting some wood...hubby is still in bed and the house is offly cold
I can preach to the choir about stock piling wood for occansions like this!!!
Hubby likes to go and cut every day....we go through about a truck load a day. Will be more today since everything has to warm back up!
