Hehe, we have a RIR named Ruby, but she is a big goofball. She is friendly, but talks entirely too much.

I would definitely get chicks or eggs from Wynette for the BCM's. They have been fun to have around our yard. Houdini and Stevie are characters.

Stevie hates being bag balmed, but he hasn't stalked me since.

Awwww HBR, she is so darn cute. I love little dogs but they have to fend their way around here. My mini dachshund is 12 pounds and she wiggles under all the big dogs at the fridge to get a treat first. They act like they are 200 pounds. Gotta love'em

One of the reasons why you guys hadn't heard from me in some time is that my hubby and I got word about a dear friend of ours the week before Christmas. He had a stroke, and is hospitalized now. At the time, the prognosis was not good, and we were quite distraught about our precious friend. The day after Christmas, he was able to swallow. This was after our family had said a prayer for him before Christmas dinner, asking whatever gods may be to allow him to live and function again. It kind of gave us some faith in the possibility of someone maybe being out there when we got word that he had swallowed. He is going through several hours of therapy per day, and is doing well. We are going to visit him for the first time tomorrow. I can't wait to give him a great big hug.

Hey now, not fair. LOL Im up and have been up for about 45 mins. The pups seem to want to get up to play usually around 4am.

It is BITTER cold out this morning. I touched the door handle to go outside and my hand stuck to it. OUCHIE. Sure hope my horses were smart enough last night to put themselves to bed. I whistled for them and they didnt come up, so hopefully they were all tucked in the barn.

Another day to bundle up good. Keep those ears from freezing.

Yea I will bet that thermometer is broke. Woke up at 5 AM to 5* down here. The furnace has been running nonstop all night. Next months electric bill will probably be a whopper. Good news is I may actually see the sun today!

Just wanted to jump in and say good morning to all!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I also wish a healthy New Year to all and there families and critters!!
I have been really busy with the Holidays and the kids being home from school. I was looking back through the old posts, love seeing all the pictures of families and animals. It seems most have enjoyed the holidays. I must say I am looking forward to the kids going back to school and life getting a little more normal.
I loved seeing the welsummer egg and hearing all the talk about wellsummers. I can't wait for mine to grow up. I have 9 I hatched from Vicki's eggs, they are only a month old now.
I agree with most of the others on here, can't wait until spring.
I hope everyone has a great day and make sure to bundle up!!!

Well there is this big orange/yellow thingy coming up over the trees east of me and if I remember right it looks like the sun. Sure would be nice if it would stick around all day. Looking west I can see a huge bank of clouds out over lake michigan. Now if the wind would remain calm... Oh nevermind i'm kidding myself.
