If anyone's interested, I've got 3 blue bantam cochin cockerels, 4 Delaware cockerels, and 3 Delahorn cockerels that need a home ASAP! The Delawares and Delahorns should make some awesome soup in a few more weeks. I'd keep 'em and eat 'em myself if I didn't have so many chickens already....and 2 incubators full of eggs again!

I'm nuts, I know. My addiction is too strong. Someone please help me...take some of these cockerels!!!!!

my neighbor came over to go get her, and was going to use my car. my car got stuck in the driveway. sideways. we just couldn't get any traction.

i shoveled the whole drive. we had 1 foot snow drifts on one side and it seemed like it took forever.

she's at the neighbor's house resting, as the neighbor has rear wheel drive on her truck and didn't want to get stuck backing out.

seems like her toe may be sprained more than broken. DH will take her to urgent care when he gets home.

my feet are frozen!

I heart goes out to her. Along time ago like 20 years ago I was in a crash and broke my big toe in 46 places it took 8 weeks to walk right again. And still hurts time to time. Doctor said most painful bone to break. I believe him having broken lots of bones I have skill!!
