I got a dozen turkey eggs from them last year. Out of the dozen, 7 were infertile, and only 3 of the 5 remaining eggs hatched. I ended up with 2 Bourbon Reds and 1 Bourbon Red/Royal Palm...ALL toms of course. Their turkeys are all penned together, so there is a possibility for mixed breeds.
Late night last night! My brother called after 8pm while we were at Awana, asking for a massage (I am a massage therapist). Sitting at the hospitall all day is doing a number on his bad back. So I went last night about 9:20 after I got my kids to bed. Got home at 11pm. Jim is going to be sore today
Hopefully he will not be in pain and just sore.
Still no idea what is wrong with Amy. My brother, his SIL, and my Mom are all going to talk to the drs today, with out Amy, and ask for a second opinion and the truth. Tonight my sister and I are going to the hospital.
Off to get the kids going with their school work. Have a great day!
Sarah
PS> Opa- My girls knit with a knitting loom (plastic circle with knobs on it to loop the yarn on), I think it is called. They make hats for newborn babies and dolls, plus for themselves and other kids. Emily has been making some to sell for the 30 hour famine she is participating in with our church through World Vision.
Hi Everyone, its been a while since i have been on here, been busy then my son got really sick and was in the hospital for 4 days, came home Sunday, just trying to get back in the grove of things,
I seen tractor supply is getting ready for the chicks, they bunny right now,
the girls are starting to lay more, been getting 8 to 10 eggs a day.
put my 4 ducks out yesterday and 4 for my chick that i ordered and incubated back 3 1/2 months ago.
Mom2, sorry I missed saying Happy Birthday, hope it was a good one.
Laura, I hope your son is feeling much better.
Sarah, Still praying for your SIL and family.
Shelly, those are sure some cute chicks!
iluvcks, that is wonderful artwork!
Well after being rescheduled 4 times I finally got in to see the neurologist yesterday. Good news is I do indeed have a brain!
The doctor said that I have a leison on my brian but that it is the kind that I probably was born with so if I haven't had any seizures or anything then I probably wont. He does not believe that the double vision is caused by sugar but something about nerve responses. He is trying me on some meds and if the meds help then it is due to nerve responses. DH was impressed with this doctor. This doctor really seemed to want to find an answer as to why I am having the vision problems. I also have to go next month to have Visual, brainstem, and somatosensory potentials testing done which will only take 3 & 1/2 hours to do. Was told to limit my sleep to 5 hours the night before and avoid caffeine
Sounds like that is going to be a fun day.
Today we will be picking up some vinyl flooring from a guy that is selling it for .44 cents a square foot. This is for the new coop.
Thank you to those you you who like my work, but does anyone have any ideas for things they would like to see at Chickenstock that I could do. A painting of a paticular breed of Chicken? Or an embroideried chicken peice? anything I don't want to do something that no one is really interested in. Bring on suggestions PLEASE.
Hillbilly Hen, I am so glad that you found a great Dr. I really sounds like hes helping you. I hope the meds work.
