I personally would rather have it 9 degrees than 90. You can add layers, turn up the heat, etc... but when it's hot, all you can do is lay there and sweat. It was 88 here today, cooler than some other places, but these last two cold summers we had have us spoiled. Now I have to deal with heat and deerflies!

Uhhh... I am "cockeraled out". But if you have anything you want to get rid of bring them. Someone might want what you have.

Good morning all, I hope y'all don't suffer too much from the heat. Me, I am not going to complain about it, it is better than the freezing cold winter.

So true! I will take the heat over the cold anyday. Especially with the house air conditioned

I love the heat. Summer is the best season hands down. Garden is going nuts this year and cant keep up with it.
My goose Taffy finally tryed the bigger kiddy pool today and went crazy!! Jumping in, diving across the pool, then jumping out and running around in circles honkin up a storm!! Aahhh summer and life is good.

And that's exactly what's being predicted, too. A frigid winter.

Shame on you for using THAT word....frigid and winter in the same sentence!

It wasn't me! It was the Farmer's Almanac!

It is probably going to be a rather sticky day. When I got up at 5 the temperature was 66 and the humidity was 100. Not exactly the conditions one likes to see for the start of the day. I guess it is also going to hit 90 today as well.

Well you are near Crow Island and all the ditches around there plus the Saginaw River .... great breeding grounds for them. Glad I am now on the other side of state

I am in Monroe Co. the farthest SE county before Ohio. But we do have a lot of ditches.
