Mornin folks!
Keep on thinking that Sam, it ain't working here either.
Excitement in my day.....I get to meet Vicki 2x2 and pick up some new feathered eating devices. 2 BLRW pulletts and a matching cockrel.
I also got the lumber ( Ash, of course ) around to start on my upcoming grandaughters new crib when it warms up a bit. Seems a shame to make it out of wood then her mommy is gonna paint it white anyways.....added bonus to doing woodworking projects (even when they are gifts) is the sawdust and shavings for the coop. I think the design will be similar to the crib I posted a while back for my grandson.

It is just too cold out this morning! As my 11 year old said "so cold your boogers will freeze" lol...kids are too funny. My DS is home sick again today, I took the day off from other peoples kids to take him to the dr. He has sore throat and high fever, so it will be a day for snuggling and movies.

Good morning everyone! I'm doing the everyone on the couch blanket thingy -- 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 laptop, 1 pot of coffee, and me. Nice and toasty for a few more mintues. I've got to go to work in 1/2 hour. Not looking forward to that. I've got -15 right now and a long ride to work
Good Morning all-
Ive had a hard time waking up this morning- been semi-comatose since the alarm went off at 3:30 this morning...heading out just now to tend to the chickens, and see if my van starts. Its cold out there today. Coffee is gone, time to get moving.
Wish i could call off work. I have had an off/on headache for three days now- but life goes on.
I am forcing Spring. I have started turning the light on inside the coop an hour before sunrise, and leaving it for an hour afterwards. I have pole beans growing in my kitchen, two new chicks in the brooder, and I am buying some potted crocus/daffodils this afternoon. I am sick of winter- and if Spring won't hurry up, I will just have it indoors.

Sounds like fun growing some veggies in the house. I tried that once with little ones, a lot of dirt ended up all over the house! And that was with my girls. I am afraid as to what the boys would do!!!
We have to find a safe place to put the bator so the boys don't try helping the eggs. I am thinking in Rachel's room is the safest. We wil find out in a few weeks when we start trying to hatch.
I am covered in hives still today. I broke out yesterday while exersicing. I went and worked out this morning, just not as hard, so I wouldn't itch as bad. My friend who I work out with is a nurse. She says I am allergic to the antiboditics that I just finished up. So hopefully it will go away soon!
