Someone wake me up in 79 days

Reminder to self... when taking the dogs out in the early morning and temps are in the single or negative digits, remember to put on snow pants, it gets a little drafty under the night gown

I can hear the garden already calling to me....I'm anxious to get my hands in the dirt!

I love our 4 seasons, I don't want to live anywhere else but with the things we want to try growing this year I'm really anxious for spring.

I like our four seasons, just wish this particular one was a bit shorter and its opposite (summer) a bit longer.

michiganwrangler, I had an EE go broody in March last year, soo.....since I only have the natural incubators... whenever I have a hen go broody as long as it isn't before March. I plan on separating my dels and wellies in February.

The perfect seasons would be more like this: Spring 3 months, Summer 2 months, Fall 6 months, Winter 1 month Yep, that sounds about right!

As much as I love fall, our growing season is short enough as it is. I don't know about you but I like eating things other than greens, radishes and peas entirely too much to give up on summer. Tomato sandwiches alone make the dog days worth it.
