My arm hurts like crazy today.

feels like someone cut it open. lol.

BUMMER me- I just candled my eggs. Day eight and day five. Looks like I only have two fertile growing eggs.

I am going to order more.

Also, I won an auction for sizzle eggs that I thought were shipping out on Thursday, but she shipped them on Friday, so those hopefully are not sitting outside in a truck somewhere. But its a gamble I take with ordering eggs in the cold weather.

Im sitting here listening to my hen crow.

I am about to carry out water to the ducks and check on my broody frizzle. She is sitting so tight on her six duck eggs (infertile) I hope these two chicken eggs make it to hatch day so I can slip them under her.

M2EM, glad everything went alright with your surgery. I had them choppin on my thumb back a couple of weeks and I know what you mean about not wanting to take the pain meds.

I think I'd slip those two eggs under your broody now and forget about them. Easier to get them to take eggs then chicks.

Mom2EmAll -Im glad your surgery went well. Recovery is a rough road. Keep in mind that pain inhibits healing, and eat lots of protein. Protein promotes healing

Anybody know if there are any dangers in cleaning out coops if your pregnant??

I know your not supposed to clean the cat litter box when preggers, didn't know if I should worry about chicken litter.

I wouldn't do it, even if you can I'd milk it for what it's worth for 9mths and get dh to do it!

I'm happy to hear that the surgery went well, M2EM. Hopefully the pain subsides soon. It's odd that the Drs wouldn't allow you motrin. It's like the default drug up here. Got some pain? Here, have a prescription for Motrin 800.
