Yorkchick, I'm glad you've decided to join us. The Michigan thread is one of the friendliest and most helpful thread on BYC.

Went and picked up some BCM chicks today.

They rode home fine and have made themselves comfy in the brooder. I made sure they all knew where food and water could be found and they had some fun picking through shavings before settling down to take a nap.
They're so cute at this size!

Ferret, cute chicks. It's amazing how fast they grow isn't it? Seems like yesterday that mine were little balls of fluff.

3 new Wellie chicks, 3 more pippped and stalled. I can't wait to find out if I have enough pullets to pay Opa back for the eggs. I'll post pictures when hatching is done and they are removed to the brooder. (They're really packed into the little Brinsea mini-advance.)

Welcome Susan Yorkchick - I'm in your area - sort of North of A2 and a tad west. I don't know of anyone with Sebright eggs - maybe someone will be bringing them to Chickenstock!

HH, LOVE the Delawares and the Icelandics. Are the Icelandics friendly birds? They are so beautiful.
