CHICKIES!!!

6 out so far and many more pippin' through!

I'm stuck at work so my hubby sent me some pictures.
here's all of them...

and our first showgirl...it turned it's head when he snapped the picture...it's so freakin' ugly but adorable LOL I'll get a new "cuter?" picture when i get home

Well, Rusty (our Easter-egger 'roo) ticked the wife off
for the last time Tuesday. He hopped up on the waterer
and then launched. He's now in freezer camp.

And my son rejoices. It was to the point where my son (10)
was leery of putting the chickens away.

So, on Thurs, we went and got 3 'roos (2 Buff Orp and
1 Barred Rock) and 3 straight runs (1 Buff Orp, 1 Barred
Rock and 1 Black Austorlope).

Ohh yeah, and Huey, Dewey and Louie-
3 straight run Rouen ducks.

Keyt? You sexed them? Really? I wanted to do the scovy babies but they were too little, and I didnt want to scare them...I did sex Henry the goose..lol.
