Anyone interested in a female dutch rabbit- anyone nearby? Im not thinkin a single rabbit is worth any sort of drive for.

She is okay friendly- had a litter of babies,( was pregnant when we got her) then she got a little cranky...my daughters room smells like a barn, and she already has a NICE bunny and a guinea pig in there. We are thinking we wouldn't shed any tears if this one found herself another home.

OH! On another topic- I must have the loudest chickens ever!! They are all cluckin and squawking and carrying on- I shoveled big large dangerous looking ice chunks off their roof- but they were throwin fits before I even started!

Hi All!!
Took hubby to the doctor yesterday. He is so skinny. A gust of wind could blow him away. Me on the other hand, I am so chubby, a hurricane would still keep me grounded.

After the doctor , we went to see our new Great grandbaby. He is such a cute little guy.

Our son Kevin never wanted to let him go!!! So I had to snatch the little one up so I could hold him too.
Our youngest sons last three kids were not little babies when they were born. Each one was over 9 pounds.
Welcome to the newcomer. Hope you like it here.

Our chickens are all doing real well and really enjoying the warm weather. I am still trying to talk my hubby in to letting me get an incubator. I hope to get some more Brahmas in the future. They are such nice looking birds.
Have a wonderful day you all!!! Myrna

I can't remember who was interested in making their own incubator but I found the chick bator thread here is the link.

Good luck with making your own bator.

Welcome to the new and glad to see your all up and doing good.

My favorite food Mountain Lion I am not kidding if ya get a chance to eat it, eat it the taste is out of this world. It is a white meat.

Have fun stay warm.

I told you! Everyone says- oh serama..quiet, sissy crowing- never hear it...except when they are illegal! And he never quits!
All day long, trying to crow enough to scare away the sun..enough to make sure my neighbors could hear...

I think you should send him over to Miss Jayne if he is threatening to blow your cover- I hear she makes a great chicken pot pie! Um, he is too small for that...he's a mere nugget!

He is way bigger than my other Serama roo, and so much louder! We'll see how it goes. You wouldn't be offended if he had to go elsewhere would you? I would try to rehome him, but at last resort I'm sure MJ would show me what to do with him.

No way- I wouldn't be offended- not at all.
My little Serama laid an egg today- must mean spring will be here soon- either that or I have her fooled!

Hello Everyone!

Lots of happy chickens today. I opened the door to the coop and they all escaped into the yard. Would have loved to let them free range out to the front yard, but our idiot neighbor's dog has been runng loose all day...the bird dog. Chased it off my property so many times and it keeps coming back. Don't know what the next step is in taking care of the problem. No, can't talk to the man...he's an idiiot. Chickens found grass, tho, so they were happy.

My Chickens and Ducks were so happy today! they have been outside since 7 this morning. I don't even know if they'll want to go in tonight. maybe hard to get them in. I wish the weather would stay this way!
