This railroad tie was boardering my flower bed by the tree and it flew 121 feet away. It got blasted in half.

Neighbor just had a major meltdown about me, my house, my yard, the pond and even the tree in the front yard.
The cops should be here any minute now.

So, I guess some people are like me, they don't like Isa Browns. The last couple of times I sold some I had calls right away. I just posted the ad for the 3rd day in a row and nothing.

Chickenstock is looking more like a washout for me

I am so sad for my DH. 22 years ago when he first started clearing land for our house he picked this location due to the two big pine trees. Now we have one.

Oh nooooo! How terrible! Do you have enough chain saws laying around? That is a huge tree! We had a Willow like that come down a few years ago and still are working on burning the wood!

Sorry Hillbilly Hen and Raz....
Unbelievable damage with that lightning!! At least it didn't hit your home or coops( or any of your family). Raz...sorry about angry neighbors. Sometimes it pays to live in the 'boonies". We live in the country on a "seasonal" road and our closest neighbor is 1/2 mile away. We don't get complaints ever...but of course...no one is going to venture out here to take care of our animals if we go somewhere. There is always pluses and minus's in every area of life.
