Thanks Opa, Granny and everyone who helped for a wonderful day! I'm glad that 2 of my roos are going to good homes with their girls. Thank you for helping me find out which ducks were drakes and hens and to others for giving the 5 ducks new homes. I love my honey, the yarn, the DE, the chicken saddle and the wonderful smelling soap. My chickens love the leftover grapes.

I really liked the broccli salad and the Lentel salad.

Yey! I made the lentil salad, so glad you like it - It looks a little weird, but it is pretty darn yummy.

My sister suggested that everyone should post their recipes. The food was wonderful, so maybe we can enjoy some of those special dishes before next year's Chickenstock.

What a wonderful day. I met so many great people and now have faces to go with the names! The food was awesome and the company was incredible. I saw some people I wanted to talk to but kept missing my opportunity, so I'll have to catch you next year. Lots of people I see on here all the time and I know were there, but I didn't see. I was kind of tied down because I had Worf, my EE roo on a great tether that Opa made for me and I didn't want to leave him alone too long (some people wanted to eat him and kept walking past looking at him). My only two regrets are that I didn't find a home for Worf and I didn't get any dessert!!!! My plate was too full and I forgot when I went up for the drawing. I really wanted to try the Mounds Bars. Fooey. Another bummer was that someone swiped my drawing gift out of my purse when I wasn't looking! Got my great honey from RaZ, thank you! Brought cute as a button Black Java chicks from Zephyr Creek to bethanyrae and took a momma Muskovy and babies to their new home with Jackie, but didn't bring anything home for me!!! That's a good thing. Farmerboy16 is my new hero, he took all five of my French Black Copper Marans roosters!! Woo Hoo! He offered to trade me some of his pullets for them and it was sure tempting, but I was able to fight off the need for more! That, plus the two hens I brought for Opa and there is much more room in the old coop and run tonight. Thanks to Opa and Granny and the Hot Dog Man and everyone who made this such a great time for us all! Next year why don't we have it at my house so I don't have to drive so far?

I have a feeling we missed a lot by not getting there til about 1:30. Didn't get the chance to sign in or anything, but did talk to a few peeps. My almost 2 year old daughter had a great time seeing some of the birds, and my wife had a blast learning some things from a few of the people we did get the chance to talk to. Next year hopefully little one will wake up earlier, and we will get to be there for more. Definitely worth the trip though. Can't wait for next year. Maybe by then I'll have my own coop and run in better order and be able to make some purchases myself.

Thanks for any and everyone who had a part in organizing Chickenstock. It is definitely a wonderful event.

Chickenstock sounds like it was a huge success! Everyone seems to have had a great time. I was unable to attend due to the fact that I'm new to all of this I didn't learn about this fantastic event until I already had other obligations. I'm gonna make it a point to attend next year. It sounds like fun and I think it would be a great experience for my family.

I had a great time at CS today. Thank you all for making this newbie feel welcome.
I'm glad my ducks and BAs found good homes. It was fun rounding them up from the mud they made.

The food was great, the gift table was wonderful and a speciial thanks to those folks who made this happen.
I'll see you all at the next CS.
