What a wonderful day! What a wonderful turnout this year! I'm sad I had to leave at noon. I have some pics to try to load here. Just wish I'd had my camera with me for the chicken chase, and to get a pic of the girl sleeping with her goose(?) and of the girl walking around so happy with her Ameraucana. But when you get to talking, you forget to take pictures, eh? It was nice seeing who I did in the short time Bob and I were there!

Wynette, I missed saying hi to you. Will talk later.

Nigellas, Did you bring your dear Java hen and her buddy? I looked but didn't find you.

Please ID some of the people in these photos if you can!

Tell us who this is.....

These are 6 1-week old Java chicks that Judy (Chickmate) brought to me from Ellen at Zephyrcreek, who couldn't make it down this year.

Isn't this the cutest handful you ever had?

She cries so much and throws such a baby tantrum we cant leave her alone out there. Neither she NOR Henry know they are geese, so they dont recognize each other as company. Henry has been a flamingo.
no really. A Flamingo.
He holds one leg up- even was showing off holding up one leg AND bending over to eat out of the bowl....

take two steps, strettttttcchhh and FREEZE...lol, I compare it to teenage boys flexing their muscles and showing off to the teen girls walking by...

So, now I have chicks on my kitchen table, and a goose somewhere in my house.

I think my daughter may have it stashed in her room....

I really enjoy myself at chickenstock today, I just wished I got there a little earlier. I bought three baby black silkies and they are doing great! I was so glad I went, first year and will not be my last... Thank you keyt1969. Now hopefully I will get some Royal Palms soon.

yeah no kidding. But he got that big rooster so he's happy and I don't have to hear about all I got for a while.

Although he's the one that has to build the hutch for the extra rabbit but we have all the supplies and he loves building things.

dunno, but I bought two and love em.

I bought 2 for Aric's birthday plus have the extra large sumo wrestling looking rooster from Uncle Bubba and love them all!

I'm really bummed I didn't get to see that huge rooster Keyt, please take some pictures so I can see him? You know there were lots of kids running around and my drawing gift was one of those flat dog toys with no stuffing in it. Probably looked like a fun thing to play with. No problems, my dogs don't even know they're missing it! Also want to thank you and Aric for watching out for my stuff when I was mingling and getting lunch and special thanks to Aric for hauling my dog crate and roos out of my car for me!
