Oh Gee....choices!!!!!
We're getting ready to go to my son's Boy Scout award ceremony where they're recognized for achievements. He with his bandaged wounded hand from finishing up his woodcarving project over the weekend.
And I just found a very in trouble pullet! All I can figure is that she might not have figured out the new automated watering system, even though I put a little red and white waterer on top of it. She was near it, and VERY cold, but breathing well. One side of her face looks like it's been in the gravel for a while. She looked and felt dead, except for the steady breathing.
She's wrapped in a microwaved sock of dried beans, in a towel on my lap, while I give her little sips of water. It's been 45 minutes and she can hold her head up now. She's still not well.
And we have to be there in a hour.
She's from my young Vorwek trio! AUGHHHHH
And I'm so thankful for my daughter Christine for putting together the meal contribution we have to take tonight.....everything at once, eh?
Anything else I need to do for this little pullet?
