I feel your pain Opa. I've been there.

My phone recently decieded to reboot itself and I lost a bunch of pictures.

I now have an instant upload feature that helps me back up my pictures to the web.

Thanks for asking Hillbilly. We had a nice party...20 of dads friends came...my daughter is in the picture and my newphew. Dad is 98 yrs. young!! I was a little emotional and weepy at times but everyone had a nice time. 17 women and 3 men....dad thought he was in heaven already!

DH just told me tonight he let my flock free range OUTSIDE of the fenced yard! Thankfully all were counted for . I thought it odd they kept trying to slip past me when I opened the gate...now that they tasted complete freedom I'll probably have a rebellion on my hands.
Opa I'm with you on disliking tech stuff. One of the gifts my dad got was a "kindle" for his birthday! He asked me to show him how it works and I was embarrased to say I didn't have a clue. The 80 year old lady who gave it to him showed us both how! Geez.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY CHICKENS!!!

I am glad you had an awesome time with your Pop, Fife. Just think, in 2 years he will be able to join the Centurion Club!

Now as to why I love my chickens...
1) They are always happy to see me
2) They are always happy with what I bring them to eat, unlike my kids who complain if mac n cheese isn't on the menu 8 days a week
3) THey clean themselfs.
4) They don't argue about bed time.
5) They are so cute, sweet! I love to listen to them chittering, grumbling, clucking and crowing. Watching them run full out chasing bugs, each other, what ever... To see chicks playing...
6) They help me relax just sitting out there with them, And they will just hang out next to me.

Linda, I'm glad your father's birthday was so nice. I sure wish my father was still around. He lived to be 86, has been gone for 5 years, and I still miss him.
