heeheeheehee, my grandson stays in his jammie all day when his Moms off at work. We caught him yesterday afternoon at around 3:30 still in them!!! lucky kid.

I wasn't saying they are bad people. I was saying he's a jerk for telling me my son couldn't join the local chapter cuz of his age, when apparently the local chapter has had a cloverbud group for a while and his kids, foster kids, have been involved in 4H at that chapter forEVER. Thats what makes me mad. I understand that there ae chapters out there that do not have cloverbud, but this one does, and him and his kids are well known within the chapter. But thats aside now, I dont want to hash it, but I don't want you to think that I think people are bad for being uninformed... Its irratating when I am lied to is all. AND I do feel he knowingly lied to me.

so when my hubby and I were moving the chicken tractors around that have the two chicks and the overly protective momma in it one of the babies scooted out. I picked it up and noticed something odd..it only has ONE wing!! Looks like a birth defect...I found a worm and threw it in there and watched the two chicks play tug-of-war! I'll video tape it next time.

Opa, welcome back... did you use the TC3 cube last winter? I have a water with a heated base as well as the cookie tin wondered if the hot and cold, off and on, lessened the life of the light bulb at all? the bird bath water heater sounds interesting also, would be good to have water outside as well as in. I am hoping to have a larger covered area this winter to coax them out of the coop a little more.

Hey Folks,
I have a favour to ask...

I have a GIS class this semester and in lieu of a final exam, we can do a geocoding project. What I would like to do is ask all Michigan peeps to tell me what town and county they are in. And if your flock is permitted, limited in scope or completely banned. No names will be used and all responses will be kept confidential.

I think I could have some fun with this and I know no one has surveyed chicken owners before.
