Just curious....what's your selling price and how'd you decide on the price? Brown eggs are pretty pricey in the grocery store. Someone told me to price mine (when I decide to start selling) slightly below store price.

Yeah I was in Kroger the other day and they had Medium eggs for 2.49/doz. Brown.
Then someone told me a guy on M-15 (4 miles from me) was selling brown eggs at $3/doz. I want them to GO, not set her in the fr idge. I only have 6 layers right now, but when they all get to POL, I'll have 13 of them, by end of November if all goes well.

I hope the guy on M15 didn't buy mine to resell

, I'll have to stop by there and see who's running the place.

Glad to hear that. My DB cut the tip of is, and took part of the bone too. Its on every rude persons favorite finger.

As for that chicken coop... OH MY GOSH! Now I am really jealous! My house isn't that nice! Enclosed rap around and all! If I ever win the lottery, I am going to hire that guy to design and build mine. Spinkler and all!

People are always calling me smart or wise, except they always add @$$ to the end.

On my front porch is a small refrigerator from which I sell eggs on the honor system. I have a sign that explains that the eggs are much fresher than you could ever get in a store. That I feed the highest quality food and it is expensive, please help share my feed costs by leaving what ever they feel is fair. The last 12 dozen averaged $3.59. I have only one time have someone take eggs without leaving money.

Boy, do I understand wanting to download the eggs! I started with a handful of my 28 laying and am up to 21 of them laying a day. I am drowning in eggs. I have been selling them to my co-workers, giving away to family, eating them, giving a daily duo to my dog, and once a week our 2 pigs get about 3 dozen mixed in with their feed, and I still have an average of 6-8 dozen in my fridge every day.
