What would we do without you?

My boss, the owner of the dairy farm where I work says that Brown Swiss is also good as a dual purpose too, what do you think?

No problem! I have a soft spot for Brown Swiss. I just love their looks. I think with all the dual purpose types you can get milkier lines and you can get beefier lines and you just need to search around until you find that perfect cow for you. I think the brown swiss would make a find choice. If you're wanting to breed rare breeds though keep in mind they're not currently on the list. Milking Shorthorn and Dexter both are. Among others.

Personally, of those three I'd love to have a Brown Swiss family milk cow. But that's just personal preference. I think the right cow with the right temperament will serve you well regardless of breed.

I am using Safari on my MacBook. Are you talking Safari on the iPhone? Hold on. I browsed earlier from my iPhone and everything was working, but maybe mine will be wonky with posting too. Let me check...

Hey everyone!
I actually made it in here twice without getting too confused....yet lol

So we are completely overloaded with eggs. OMG. I'm almost praying for cold weather hahaha
Aric says 41 eggs in 2 days. ACK!
I can't sell them to save my life right now and I don't know why. I never had a problem before. What I should do is make a log of regular customer's phone numbers so I can call THEM if we have any. They usually call me but I've told them no for sooo long. The cover is off the sign and we've had a few people stop but not as many as I need. Even our spare fridge is getting too full!

I hear we have snow coming. Hope so because I want some of this mud to freeze up.

I had a great laugh the other day. One of my cousins from Washington State msg'd me on facebook asking if they could come stay with me a couple days, they wanted to go skiing nd they didn't have any there (except in the mountains but it's too warm haha) so they thought it would be a good time to come visit me. HAHA. I said you could go mud skiing that's it! LOL
