I wonder ; As i wander [lurk]-----

AS one reads posts do they tend to respond in a post of their own immediately ? I tend ( almost always) to finish all posts not read , then --find i don't have time to respond or can't remember what i wanted to say.

Where do so many of yall find all of the stuff u do about how to do what u do ?

Is it just experience that enables one to know what all the [to me] disjointed letters represent. IAU

For me, its trial and error on what works and what doesnt work..lol. I have self-taught most of what I can do on the computer. The other stuff I can do is because of asking people.
I have been trying to edit pictures all morning- meaning, I can move them, upload them, etc but I cannot crop them. I gave up searching for "cropping photos' because you would not believe how many posts there are with pictures of crops- impacted crops, hard crops, saggy crops, etc...alas, no directions on how to crop a photo. lol

I switched over and decided to try once again to add photos to my Kindle Fire. YAY me, somehow I figured out how to do that..and I can acrually access and read BYC with my Kindle Fire- I cannot post however.

I personally think, Raz has something to do with that. This way, he can make a quirky post- and we wont be able to reply until we are home- and by then his quirkly jabs are buried under pages and pages of posts. lol

In the old forum I was only 4 posts away from 500 and somehow I have lost a few in my post count. I know it is not a big deal but I have been "Chillin' with my peeps" a long time.

Good morning. All the poultry seems to be adjusting to the weather and I have a 3 year old RI hen who has decided that a snow blizzard is a good time to start MOLTING!!

Just going to have to talk in double time now...you will do it before you know it..lol.

I can't find where to delete a post after making one. Last night I made a post and thought I put a pic in it, when I hit submit the only thing that came into to post was my avatar, no text, no pic, so I did it again and the same thing happened. I did ask the mods to delete it and they did......somehow.

Three for free - I think you can go to edit, click on the photo and then press the delete button. Hope that works for you!

You cant delete posts..only edit. If you want a post deleted, the mods have to do it.
I know this answer because I found it on some thread somewhere when I was searching how to edit my photos..correction, how to CROP my photos.

I figured out how to crop my pictures~

save them back to my computer. Use my computers photo editor, then re-add them here...

BobBry, I have the exact same problem! I do read through all the posts, and off and on have the intention to respond to one--then I'm out of time or energy, or that subject is 10 pages back already and my little comment would be stale before I even post it. Plus, if I keep reading, there's often new info on the topic or someone else has already put in a much better answer than I would have come up with. In which case I'm grateful I didn't jump in immediately.

LOL! LOL! I think it's come to mean a little something different than what it actually stands for. I mean, how often is actual Laughing Out Loud literally occurring, for either the writer or the reader? (Sometimes, I admit, it does for me when I am reading the Michigan thread!) Often I think LOL is more a signal that "hey I am not entirely serious here"--because getting across the exact tone of your words is so much harder in print than in person. I think maybe we need yet another acronym to get that across. WG (weak grin)? SAS (small apologetic smile)? Because, of course, what we reallly need is more sets of letters to throw around and confuse people with. WG!
