Hi everyone. I haven't posted on here in a millenium if feels like Been so busy with the kids and holidays. Anyway, I posted an ad for our geese in the Other Poultry section. Love these guys and they have done a 100% perfect job of protecting our flock but I'm going to downsize a tad before the spring. Since mating season is coming up I figured that would be a good time for someone else to benefit

Hope everyone is staying warm! I'm on my way out to freeze my fanny off to give them some fresh, unfrozen water. YIKES! BRrrrrrrrrr!

98 posts since I was last on...sheesh....I only skimmed.

Question: I have been noticing periodically through the posts that somtimes in replies there is a random word that is blue and underlined. If i place my cursor over the word a little ad box comes up. Does any one else have this? Is it part of the new format's advertsting, something that needs to be blocked on my computer to prevent it? I just started noticing it a few days ago and did get a couple notices via email that the Michigan thread has been updated. Any replies would be greatly appreciated for it is driving me nuts!!

I had to remove the Marans girl again. I noticed her moving her head weirdly and to my horror....impacted crop. UGH. Poor thing is back in the bathroom and subject to me messing with her a few times a day hoping we can get her crop moving and working properly again.

I opened up the coop to find one broody (Mavis... my ever broody silky) and a CROWING ROOSTER! He's got such a cool crow. It's my older Marans boy.

My DH got pellets instead of crumble by accident so our egg production has diminished to one egg a day....and he happened to forget he had it in his pocket when doing outside chores. SPLAT! :: sigh ::

When that blue highlighted word shows up with advert attached, it means your computer has aquired a shopper... There is now a program in your computer that links words to adverts.... You just have to find it and disable. It would have come with something you or someone willingly downloaded. I had that, took me forever to find the culprit. Check your toolbar.... It might be there.
