I am here. thursday is our run around day. Jack goes to preschool, Gretchen to the neighbors to work on craft projects(the other kids rotate through the week), The other 3 kids and I go and volunteer at Christian Resource International. then Emily has violin lessons, pick Jack back up from preschool, then go and get Emily from her lesson.
Today we stopped by the school and signed Rachel the oldest up for softball. Never did sports before...not to big on they don't know days, or games until everyone is signed up....so I really hope it fits into our really busy schedule already!!!!

And to think, it all happens in the little town of Fowlerville, so not much driving.

well, there are 4 that popped out of the mixed bantam eggs. and i cannot remember how many are in there! ha ha!

so far the success rate with the Dickey is exceptional! i think the last hatch out of 34 viable eggs, all but 4 or 5 hatched. and 2 were blue eggs, which are harder to hatch. i'm very pleased.

Very impressive! Keep up the great job! You are making all of us want to hatch our own...my daughter keeps asking me, she wants to try and hatch out the bantam eggs she got today. We will have to see. I need an egg turner for the little incubator we have from TSC and we have to find a very special place where the boys cannot reach them...

My Silkie is broody again- I gave her eight frizzled cochins to hatch out. They are on Day...um, 2, I think. 2 or 3. right? I cant remember.

darn.

Okay I just looked. They are on Day 6. The other eggs in the incubator are on Day 5, and Day 4, and in the other incubator- well, they are on Day 1. And more eggs are on Day MINUS 1- they should be here tomorrow. Um...
My name is Kim and I am a hatching addict.

I just bought a new purse and put away my winter coat. I am so sorry, my friends. The reason why winter hasnt left and spring hasnt fully arrived is because I was still wearing my winter coat. Now that it is put away, Spring will arrive. Enjoy, and you are welcome.

Oh I have more questions.

In this one mixed up batch of eggs I got from one of my most favorite egg sellers for Easter eggers and turkens that lay blue eggs-
http://www.goldendovegallery.org/hatching eggs.html

are three eggs that are very large. And not white. Not brown. Not green. They are kinda, well...tan, maybe. How am I supposed to know what they are? What if they are duck...duck, goose, turkey, guinea?

*hands MJ a cup of coffee* Pull up a chair... lets watch the 'bators.

HA Ha! Sounds like something I would do.

I have also actually lost my ring. Fed the horses at 1am one night after a late night at work. The temps had dropped into the negatives. When I threw the hay into the stall I heard a clink, and my wedding ring was gone. Talk about trying to explain that one to hubby. Ran to the house for flashlight as no electric in barn. Believe it our not, I did find it. Obviously since I did say I was still married.
