Oh man, I hate all this waiting! Yep, I guess you will be able to tell the difference then, huh?

Ed just called wanting to know when I was bringing the babies home. He is starting to worry about the feed bill going up. ha ha! I told him not to worry because I gave them to Rhandi.

I was just talking to a friend and she would like to hatch some eggs. She would like to find them locally, if possible. She is not on BYC,

I know, shocking, huh!! She lives in the Kalkasa/Fife Lake area, but could easily travel to Traverse City, Mancelona, Cadillac, or other surrounding areas. She is looking for some or any of the following breeds or something similar, EE, barred rocks, australorps, or SLW.

They are also going to order some meat birds. Plant a huge garden, which they usually do, get some turkeys and pigs. They have had all in the past before, just usually not all at the same time, but times are tough and they have decided to be a little more self sufficient, just in case.

THANKS FRIENDS!!

Rachel lost her ring this morning doing chores. She is out looking for it right now. It was a gift from Grammy and it was a little big. First time she wore it to do chores...live and learn.

Rest of kids are doing their math test.

Talk to you all later.

Hubby is giving me grief about my chicken obsession. I need a new coop for my chicks that are coming in April and he does not want to build one. We also do not have a lot of money right now so I am stressing. I have been looking on craigslist but no dice.

Good afternoon - well almost anyway.

Your username wouldn't reflect your real name would it? Just curious, because that is a rare name and I knew a woman from Germany years back with that name.

Hey Cathy, that cockeral is hilarious isn't he? I love it when they first learn to crow. They try so hard and it is so broken sounding.

Need some? My kids were breathing treatments for awhile, especially my daughter when she was a baby. I have a few boxes of it. He is a proud little guy though. MJ was amazed when I told her they were three months old. I have a three week old standard chick that is the same size as them.

Local "establishment" I frequent about twice a year has what is called a BAB.

It stands for Big A## Beer, and that is what you ask for when the waitress takes your order.

It is a 32 ounce beer served in a quart mason jar....frosted of course.
