Hey raz, why not come here and help me build my coop! I don't work today, so I am gonna have fun with that. You don't need super bowl party stuff.... Oh that's right... I am on the wrong side of the hand... Forget it... I will be done before ya get here!
You should have given me an advanced warning. Would have had that coop slapped up in no time.

I have had a SuperBowl Bash every year since 1983. It's a gathering of friends and I don't think I've seen the game at all.

Hope everything comes out good for your daughter. I was sitting here thinking if that was my daughter how it would just kill me. And as far as the remembering thing goes, we ALL forget. Especially in times of stress. Here's to your stepdaughter

I owe a big thank you to my boss. She gave me a ride to the hospital. yesterday when I got the call, i ran out and then remembered that my van broke down on the way to work. It is currently sitting in an alley between work and here.
This was the worst one in a while- and the amnesia was new. It scared me that she couldnt remember her sister or brother. Or the cat. We have eight. She should have remembered one of them...and her sister. They fight every day- how does one forget her? That scared me alot.

The remainng four are too CHICKEN to leave my lean-to. Their own mama left them this morning to go explore the yard. They were peeking out, but by the time I came through the gate, they were tucked back in to their smaller world.

Its the "more and more" that bothers me. My job depends on my brain, my family depends on my brain..sometimes it frustrates me, but sometimes it is just ridiculous. It bothers me that when I needed it, the info just wasnt there.
These 2 are the same way, peek out then go back to the hidey-hole.

I can relate to the "more and more", not only am I forgetting simple things, I think I'm getting age-onset dsylexia.

age onset dyslexia...meaning on my upcoming birthday, instead of turning 43..I can think that I am turning 34.
I remember 34. *sigh*

Stress makes a HUGE difference in memory. and shock is a real physical thing, not an aging thing. It actually changes your chemistry for a bit. Don't beat yourselves up for it.
