Steve and his beautiful wife, Judy, just left. Had a wonderful visit with them and Kristen (Krisrose). So nice to meet BYCers. They are a really nice couple. Really enjoyed your company Steve and Judy! Did Vicki's chicks get home ok?? It was really fun.

We enjoyed our stay, although it seemed brief. Your place is beautiful, I swear that house belongs in Florida. Judy.....the lady who didn't want chickens to begin with.....talked to the peeps almost the entire way home.

Kristen is not shy...she promptly asked for a hug and got one! Upon leaving hugs were shared.....except I didn't hug Mr. Chickflick.

I called Vicki as we were getting close and she literally pulled in my driveway in no time to pick up her birds. They are in her care now.

Hi all!! Just got home!! Perfect timing!! We found a beautiful dress for my daughter for prom and on the way back, Steve called, so we drove straight to his house and picked up the chicks. I called ahead and had my hubby turn on the heat lamp so the brooder was toasty for them and I just got them all settled. They are already running around checking out their new digs!! They seem to be doing well, already eating and drinking, so I think they will be fine.

Glad the chicks made it home safely. Gosh, those bantams gave me a good workout. Running up and down those stairs a million times a day. Wish things had gone better for them, tho. Feel really bad that so many didn't make it.

I am really goofing up. Somehow was trying to put htis in a pm to MJ and got it on the board.. THen tried editing and somehow got it in a quote to you, lol. I have no clue how that happened. Just ignore!

Yes I did....they had no problems for the most part. One tried pecking a bit of shavings of the newbies butt, which brought a beak to beak interaction.

The newbies are a bit smaller, but they hold their own just fine.

there are a couple people waiting to test the eggs so i will add you into that group.
