ISA Brown - 3; Silver Laced Wyandottes - 3; and BSL - 2. What was I thinking?

I'll try to get better pictures after they have had a chance to settle in. Right now I just made a half-fast wire divider and have them in with the mallards until I get the other brooder cleaned and sterilized.

I also met a very nice lady who was also getting some chicks.I told her about BYC and our chatty forum and gave her my number.
I will take your SLWs if you change yer mind on them.we don't have them at our tsc... They are adorable.

Our Tsc here in Greenville has a tank full of them. I love how they have a giant spider pattern, but I already have a few of them and they are not on my most wanted list.

These were straight run, Nova. I'm taking a chance because I wanted them last year when I started this obsession hobby. If I get cockerels, I'll bring them to ChickenStock. On the other hand, New Hudson TSC had a bunch. I could buy you some and ask the neighbor if her hubby would transport them out to GR for you. (He works out there and comes here once a week)

Heh! They're cute. I'd forgotten what SLWs look like as chicks.
They are kind of marked like my mallard babies. I picked out the lightest coloured ones though. I'm sure they will change a lot as they grow.

I haven't forgotten about my big birds or the Uggos. Lemon, the pink skinned naked neck has grown a "bow tie" and both of them are now bigger than the bantam Gravy. All 4 big girls gave me an egg today. The 2 BSLs are sharing a nest box and the BO has decided to lay in a milk crate with the BLA. The BO has been laying eggs that are almost white like store-bought eggs. There is hardly any tan colour at all. And the 1 BSL laid an 80 gram egg today, it doesn't fit in the carton.

Nova- where do you get your faverolles? I haven't looked too much yet, but when I was on My Pet Chicken the other day they were sold out until August. I don't want to wait that long so if I can't find an alternative I'll probably choose a different breed to add to my flock.
