Im home.
My surgeon did not impress me, so I went and saw my regular doctor after him.

The surgeon walked in...said, "wow you sure did bruise". Poked my stomach, said, well you must have broken a blood vessel. You will be okay. Let me see you in a month>" I said, "I have an appointment with you on Monday". He said, "Oh, well then keep that appointment". He didnt care about explaining nothing to me, and was gone.

SO, I left there and drove to my family physicians office. Walked in- said, "I dont have an appointment, but I want to see the doctor". The receptionist said, "Why" and I lifted up my shirt.
She replied with an OH MY GOD- and said, I will put your chart up.
I became a freak show. Everyone in the office had to come and look at my stomach/back. The black coloring goes from my left side all the way across my abdomen to my back on the right side. From sternum to pelvic bone to hip bone.

My doctor ran a clotting profile, and a CBC, prescribed me pain meds that wont make me nauseous *dont need them now";;;he poked and prodded my abdomen. Said since the swelling is down, and the pain is localized to where the incisions are, he doesnt believe that I am still bleeding. Said I tore something when I coughed on Friday. He said he doesnt like my pulse rate. Wants me to call his cellphone at 5 today to let him know how I am doing. Said he isnt worried about a blood clot because the blood is all superficial.

So, here I am.

My rabbits get lots of treats. I see them sharing with the chix all the time. Love scratch. They eat pumkin and squash and melon, and popcorn, and banana, dried bread, and on and on. I pick dandelions for them in summer. Well, I found some small ones today. My two bunnies share the run with the chix.
Hate for momma bunny to have gas! Ouch!! Need pic of the babies!!

I haven't seen it but I'm sure they would. I saw mine catch and kill a mouse. They fought over it until it was gone.
Maybe I should bring a few buckets and come to your place to catch some frogs.

Same here. If they make a mess they don't get any more until they clean it up.

Olive, that was just mean about Beyonce'... Why would you insult that chicken statue? What did that chicken statue do to you?


I CAN NOT STAND BEYONCE'. She annoys me beyond belief. Would not mind at all if I never heard another song, or saw another movie with her in it.

You'll have to take up your annoyance with the statue's owner, the one who named it Beyonce. It's not me, but she's a very nice gal despite her choice in monikers. LOL!

Im taking it easy. I am going to a managers meeting at work from 2 until 4.
Thats my plan for the day.
Then when I get home, I am going to direct my children to do the dishes and sweep the floor and do some laundry.
They may die.
Because they havent done it yet and it hasnt disappeared.
Im not doing it.

OR it can stay there and wait until I get better, but I am pretty sure my husband will blow a gasket before then. So, the girls will do it.

I am doing NOTHING.

Wow Mom2Em! I am sure that much bruising is a freak show! I really can't believe your surgeon though. How careless and irresponsible. That sort of response from a doctor (who has taken an oath to help) is the reason my family do not see doctors unless we think we are dieing...I am sure a doctor would help speed us along! Take it easy, and get better soon!

I just can't believe this weather and because I have become addicted to this board and still want to be outside, I've combined both worlds.



That's lemonade in the glass. I can see my pond from the deck, it's still partially frozen, water on top of the ice but it's getting thinner and thinner. I suppose I could go dig in the garden some more.....

Finally! I figured out what I did wrong.
