There is a banana variety that is winter hardy here. I had one for a couple of years but lost it for reasons not associated with the winter. The fruit is not edible.

Well that sucks, nevermind then. What's the point of having a banana tree if you can't eat the fruit! Jerks.

Texas was a beautiful environment to visit. I found it a rather awkward place for a.. I don't want to use the term "feminist", how about "equalist"? I like that better. So, I found it a rather awkward place for an equalist young lady to be.

Well...looks like batch 1 is done hatching. Not as good of a hatch as I wanted but not too bad. The shipped eggs were put in on 03/26....shouldn't they be hatching by now...or is it just me not knowing how to count again? lol I'm hoping that's what it is because if it's not then buying those eggs was a waste of $$.

I am planning to go Juise. I am thinking I might rent a van... With tv... Video game stations... Keep the boys entertained! So now you have to go. Leave the old man home tending the chickies.

I understand if you harvest the seeds for the plants you grow this year, next years plants will already acclimated for your soil. Just save the seeds from the best fruit or veggie.
