actually, i have a line on a person who works at a plastic company that makes kiddie pools. he can get the 'imperfect' pools for a little bit of nothing!

hoping to be able to get that together!

Ohhhhhh, keep us informed!! Right now we have two small ones and a short stock tank, but I would like to get the bigger wading pools for them.

I had great plans for working on my garden fencing today. I started yesterday with building a T-post puller and then removing the T-posts for the garden and replacing them with 4x4's. I'm raising the fence height to 6' in an attempt to keep the birds from flying out. It looks like the final cost for reworking the fence is going to be $300. Another one of my real smart plans. If I was real smart I should have clipped wings.

Morning Sam...and to everyone else when you wake!

Sam, the only way your new fence isn't a smart plan is if your chickens continue to get out...then that will be a super bummer!

I've got to put some fencing up for breeder pens this spring. But if mine decide to get out, they've got 10 acres to get lost on and they're on their own.

Well, gotta go start a rambling thread. How come just when things are going right, everything has to fall apart? Such is life, but it really stinks.

Hope everyone has a great day!

We had a scare last night.

My son called about 5:30, he, his wife and 16 month old son got into a car accident in Lansing. He needed me to come and get them since his Blazer was wrecked beyond drivability.

A lady pulled right out in front of him from a side street, hit the daughter in law and grandsons side of the vehicle. As you may recall she is 7 1/2 months pregnant with our grandaughter.

Cops gave the lady a ticket and left my son and his family in the parking lot and offered no help.....Yep I was P.O'd they offered no assistance. My wife even more so, she works for the county....pays the cops their paychecks and authorizes/ pays their extra costs....she called and gave them a piece of her mind. My son got a apology from the cop.

But!..... more importantly he never asked if my Daughter in law needed to be checked out because of he PG status. We took them to the hospital here in Charlotte so they could be checked out, they in turn had to send her to Ingham hospital to be checked out and under observation for 4-8 hours. If complications arose Lacey would need a C-section and the baby would be born last night.

Turns out after observation Lacey was released.

I know that today when Judy goes into work, she and Mr. Cop are going to have a discussion......I pity him.

And....good morning everyone.
