I wish I had an attractive, shirtless farm hand who also cooked and cleaned and rubbed my feet.

Wait, what were we talking about?

I go back and forth, depending on my day, but I have been wondering if it would be best to shut them in a bit earlier.

We have seen many of the night time predators at some point around our property which is why we put them to bed before it starts getting dark. DH doesn't want to give the darn things any extra chance for free dinners.

Now, I know I just berated you all for changing your avatars a few weeks ago, but this is different. I had to change mine on account of Eeyore stealing all my geese. See? Not my fault!

Also, I must say, as thieves go, she's the very best sort. She left cash.

In other news, anyone know how to get Urshiol off a hose? Or just toss the hose? My daughter has broken out in a poison ivy rash in a couple small patches since the original poison ivy fiasco of 2012, and earlier this week I wondered if it was because she is normally the one to do the watering chores and the hose gets dragged across/laid across the lane in which he had cut up the trees that were, apparently, covered in the stuff. I kept thinking, I needed to figure that out and then the past two days we've switched things up and I've been watering and now I have a rash bubbling up on my index finger. I'm pretty much convinced it's the hose now. Should I even bother trying to "wash" it, or just buy a new one?

You could have changed your avatar to a turkey - the girls tried to walk their way back to you today. Found them way, WAY up the road.

Mix up a slurry with water and a grease cutting formula dish soap and spray it on the hose.
