Well, one of my pullets just learned a very valuable lesson... DO NOT FLY OVER THE FENCE! Yup. Luckily for her she just lost her beautiful tail and SUPER LUCKY that the neighbor had her slider open, heard the commotion and was able to stop my dogs from doing anything more than taking out her tail feathers and her losing some foot feathering. I was actually able to walk right to her and pic her up, check her over, pet and coo at her a bit before setting her back to the other side of the fence. I was real glad the neighbor caught it too. I have not this pullet, but I am thinking, LD... Lucky Dummy. LOL. She's one of the January flock I got from Avalon.

She said she heard the commotion and thought that it didn't sound like normal rooster commotion. BUT hey, I can't be mad at my dogs when she so willingly was trying to make her own Gieco commercial...

I'm still looking for people from Shelby Township to join me in trying to get our ordinances changed. I hope somebody sees this so we can work together. Can't understand some of the stupid "laws" on the books. I've always considered myself a law abiding citizen, but I'm seriously thinking in this situation, WHY???
