Heck, mine is 6 and he won't even say "love you too" when he goes to get on the bus or if I am dropping him off at school. He says,"'OK"Yeah...it's hard for me to believe. He's all boy 100% and one cool cucumber out in public & at school.....can't show any emotion/affection of the kind, someone will see, but still likes me to kiss him good night!!
LOL....we have to do they three squeeze thing ( I love You ) and no one can see us doing it!Heck, mine is 6 and he won't even say "love you too" when he goes to get on the bus or if I am dropping him off at school. He says,"'OK"
Well, I think your boys are going to want companionship before they get through college and into careers. Mary has 2 more years of college and her BF is starting med school in the Fall. (He just told us that he chose the one only 15 miles from Mary's college - how convenient.) So obviously they have a long road ahead of them. But they don't want to be lonely, they want friendship/love/joy while they strive to accomplish and grow. I can say that it seems to be a good thing.I hope mine wait till they are out of college and in fruitful careers/employment before they even think about marriage and kids.
