We have been seeing a mama fox and her three babies down the road lately, but this morning on the way to church one of the babies was hit on the road.

I like foxes as long as they don't eat my animals.


I have a few pigeons called danzig highflyers. 7 plus two new babies. This was one I hatched myself. He flew away and was eaten, along with his mother.

Pigeons that are less than a day old. 1 1/2 inches long.

Two weeks? 5-6 inches long. Very ugly

Don't know how old these are but they're less than a month. (all of these babies are different)

Hey all.

I know it's hot outside today. I have been out there working in it all day working on the coop. I am stuck right now though and am hoping someone can help.

Need to make a door for the pop door, and want to make it so that it can slide up and down on the inside of the coop in some sort of track. It will serve as extra predator protection at night as well as making nice and cozy in there on those really cold, windy and blustery winter days. Having trouble picturing it though. Can anyone take pictures of theirs, please, to give me some ideas????? Can't really find pics elsewhere on this site either.

Well, maybe if all I did was search all day long, but work won't wait.

OKAY- I thought it was cute...in all its pin feather nakedness..

my pop door doesnt flip up or slide up, but it does slide from side to side..I tacked a small block on each corner of the door, and then tacked one inch wide moulding down the sides. I slide my pop door behind these to open and close it.

sure, you could look at pigeons for me. Anything female- if young thats better, because then it wont leave once its wings feathers grow back in...any breed, any at all...fantails dont fly well, do they? Thats fine..Homing pigeon? (aww, I miss my white one)..any breed. Just female so this crazy pigeon will leave my chickens alone.
