THAT'S IT! you asked for it!!! I'm going to chase you around CS with chicks HAHAHAHA! Meet you in the playground...that sounds like a challenge! How many chicks can I get you to hold before you run away screaming LOL

Theron, I'll be there!! Maybe we should try to wear something like name badges with our BYC handles on it! I'll stick one on my shirt and I'll be set up. Hoping to be there set up by 6am. :)
That is a good idea. My dad and I will both have our red Theron's fowl farm shirt on. We usually get to the swaps about 20 minutes early because some buyers like to get done, get home, and get up for work.

Here is another

Tobacco Smoke Enema Kit

Tobacco Smoke Enemas (1750’s – 1810’s)

The tobacco enema was used to infuse tobacco smoke into a patient’s rectum for various medical purposes, primarily the resuscitation of drowning victims.
A rectal tube inserted into the anus was connected to a fumigator and bellows that forced the smoke towards the rectum.
The warmth of the smoke was thought to promote respiration, but doubts about the credibility of tobacco enemas led to the popular phrase “blow smoke up one’s rear.”
This has been reintroduced in Washington D.C. , by the Obama Administration.
It will be part of the New Health Care Program.

Also anyone going to cs want some Jerusalem Artichokes? If so I'll also dig some of them up.
What is Jerusalem Artichoke? Is it something that you can eat? I may want some. I will be coming up to the U.P. to pick up some chicks and hopefully go to Agate beach.

I have lots of Lemon Basil and marjoram if anyone wants some. Both have taken over my flower beds. Also lots of spearmint and peppermint, chamomile, I read somewhere that if yo want to contain these speading plants, that they need to be planted in something like a bottomless bucket that is at least 12" deep. I also have quite a bit of yucca.

My favorite singer wears a kilt (and plays pipes).......... yummy!

some goodies on the coop.......

Who needs a cat! My old corso caught a mouse today!

RIRJen I would love some of your silkie chicks r u going to cs ill be there

It's a little cool here this morning. No matter how you look at it 46 is pushing right on the edge of cold. A mere 3 months ago we would have been thrilled to have 45 degrees and now, while we sit on the edge of summer, we find ourselves pulling the covers up a little tighter, and wishing summer would actually get here.

I'm about 1/2 way between, I believe - I'm happy to drive anything over there if you want to drop it off here instead of going there. But you should go there. Baby skunk needs love. ;)
Thank you Nigellas! And I agree she should come to RaZs! heh heh, even if you did call him "baby skunk"...

And I will, officially, NOT be going to CS. I have a wedding party to go to.

Here is the breakdown of my chickens:

So sad you wont be there at CS- and I thought you were getting THREE uggos..I believe I have the PM to prove it...

Oh yeah, MOM - How old are my Uggos?
I dunno. I will count the weeks on the calendar when I get up to refill my coffee cup,,,,

Yep, still chilly but I think I like it better than those mornings where you wake up and its ALREADY hot..no a/c in my house so the coolerr mornings give me a break from the stuffiness that is soon to come.
You are correct, though, it wasnt that long ago that we were wishin for 40s.

Good Morning Sam! I hope you have a wonderful day...and be careful of RIRJEN...she is armed and dangerous...

Yes, yes we can, Sam....hahahhaha..

UGGOS were hatched on April sixth, and SillyChickens were hatched a week later.

There is a scary monster outside my bathroom window...I wonder what my husband intends to do with it. Perhaps he can go reason with it and tell him that crowing is illegal, and if he doesnt want to become a chimichanga he needs to shut up. Only it isnt a crow. Its some deep scary tarzan call...

Yes for eating, they are a tuber. They also flower after the first frost, like sunflowers. I'm just south of Mackinaw City if your going through and want some let me know.

Opa - you are saying cold at 45. I went out this morning and it was 47 and I thought how nice and warm it is this morning. Opposite ends of the state. I did look at the week ahead 73,74,75, 90.... out of nowhere.

Is $5.00 a high price for a laying hen (vaccinated) just under a year old? Someone wanted to buy a few from me and though that was too high. I didn't even get in to telling them what I have paid for chicks and hatching eggs!
