I'm from Michigan too!! Southwest michigan, Three Rivers to be exact and I'm fairly new with chickens and I want more but I'm trying to hatch my own but I need help with that still. I'm also looking for other breeds I really want a Bantam Rooster but I'll need more hens before I bring home another rooster if anyone has any breeds other than Rhode Island reds and don't live too far from me I'll definantly check them out

What a nice day it turned out to be. Re-cleaned the yesmeaties coop. Man can the poop! Moved it right under the tree so it never will get sun on it. Half their pen is shade' half sun.

spent a few nice hours in the pool with the boys. Have a sun burn. Had a head ache, but ignored it until my pills kicked in. Sometimes you just gotta pretend its not there.

I forgot, my big mackerel that I had butchered, the Mayan cross that stood tall as my knee, 7.82 pounds. Told ya'll he was a huge one.

gotta work 3rd tonight, so gonna nap.

they are these chickens that start out uggo, and then get very cute. Example, look at the pic in mom2s avatar... It may or may not start out that funky. Haha!

I have a porcelain d'uccle rooster that needs a home! You can just have him if you want. He's almost 8 weeks old. I live in Hartford which isn't very far from Three Rivers. PM me if you're at all interested.
