Hi Katie, and welcome to BYC and the Michigan thread from northern Michigan

I will be bringing some bantam Cochins to chickenstock - see the link in my signature line. It is a fun gathering, and not a terribly long driver for you. I also have a trio (one cockerel and two pullets, it looks like so far) of Mille Fleur D'uccles, about 3 weeks old right now. I'm sure there will be many other birds available there as well.

Awwww, that's two days before my surgery i wont be able to enjoy new birds very long...how much is it to get it?

I'll have to see if I can even be around birds before and after my surgery I'll have to keep them inside for a while til they know where "home" is and I really wont be able to leave the couch much after surgery I see it says you have a Camper Chicken coop can I see pictures? my mom was telling me that would be a cost effective way to get a chicken coop as big as we need for them to still be happy happy happy

they are these chickens that start out uggo, and then get very cute. Example, look at the pic in mom2s avatar... It may or may not start out that funky. Haha!

I think if i brought an uggo home that my rhode island reds would laugh at them lol

How many hens do you need per rooster? I have 2 roosters and 7 hens!!
