Good evening, Keleka! I'm actually glad you showed me the pic of your frizzle...I'd like to get some eggs from Dave if he still has them...or maybe even some young adults. As far as the "Big Bird"...it will be a joint effort between me and citalk2much. I'm hatching the frizzled polish, and she's hopefully going to hatch the Araucanas. We'll then take the best frizzled Polish roo and cross him to a couple of her best Araucana hens. It will be a great project, I think. I'm also going to cross the frizzled Polish roo (which will be from blue/black breeding) to one of my bantam lavender Ameraucana hens...I think that will produce something really pretty, too. You'll be our first "customer".

Thanks Keleka! I'll be updating my website this weekend with pics of my newest Silkie, bantam Columbian Cochins, and Delaware chicks.

Well, I think I'm off to bed. Incubator-sitting has worn me out this past week. After tonight, hopefully I can get a good night's sleep again.

My silkie eggs are peeping, one has a pip to what I can see. There sitting in the turner in the middle of the bator (Why did I put them there

How fun----at least if you are up you have the excitement of pipping!! I hope they all hatch out soon and are healthy and strong.

Okay---there is nothing at all worth watching on tv. I think I will try to go back to sleep.

Morning sleepy heads!

Been up and down all night again...checking incubators. I set my turkey eggs from MSU last night, so I was checking on them most of the night. Today is actual hatch day for my heritage Delawares, but none of them have pipped yet...so I'm almost at panic mode this morning.

Hope everyone has a great day! Too windy and cold to do anything other than cuddle on the couch and watch cartoons.

I couldn't wait anymore. I candled my eggs this morning. I have chicks or duckings in every one!!! I'm soo eggscited!!

Boy, its going to be a long 2 weeks.

I'm not very patient when it comes to things like this.

Morning everyone!

No news on my cowgirl yet. I am going to wait a little while before I call. I am going to bring them a couple loaves of bread if they are home. My cinnamon raisin is her favorite.

I think I sold my first 20 chicks! I also am giving a friend my mutt chicks they were hatched in November so they should be laying soon for her. That gives me room for more chicks!

With everyones talk of watching incubators it makes me want to fill mine up again!
