I'm sure they are built very well. I didn't mean to imply that they weren't. Just with a 6x6 coop, you can only have a few birds and "they" say 1 nest for every 4 birds. The labor alone is worth the price of the coop.

It's not MY responsibility what people put in them when they buy them. Most of our customers (minus Robin and a couple more) have been townies who are only allowed 6-8 anyway.

One of our coops is the same size and we have more than just a "few" birds in them and never had a problem.

Beautiful eggs! I just disposed of over 2 dozen nice clean white goose eggs because I couldn't find anyone who wanted them. (They were not fertile.) Can she use that large of an egg? (in case I get them again next year.)
Oh....how sad!

I would have taken them all....

Any kind of egg...partial to turkey but will take ANY EGGS!!! These are chicken....I don't care if they are a bit "outdated" I'm not going to be eating them.
So...calling all old eggs....retire them to me!

Gorgeous eggs - I had to send a link to mis sister because she's just started decorating eggs, but she's got a long way to go before she can match these! Wish I'd known - I could have sent a dozen peafowl eggs. Do you want them blown first (I'm in WA so sending them full would be silly)? I am still getting some duck eggs ?!?!?!? (I haven't tried blowing eggs yet)

Peafowl yes; duck if they are pekin or Rouen (so blue-green).....PM me and we can talk...also I would be happy to pass any info along to your sister. Have her check out my etsy site for ideas...I'm not fussy if people use my ideas or designs....inspiration comes from everywhere!! www.etsy.com/shop/goldeneggpysanky.
I can post more pics if people are interested in just seeing what different designs are out there...

They are even more beautiful in person. If I don't show up I have gone broody. Picture me in a corner huddled with these eggs by my wings (arms) while growling at anyone who comes near my nest.

Seriously though, all I'm bringing is a rooster, the raffle eggs, my TBD raffle donation and plates and plastic ware sooooo if anyone nearby wants to hitch a ride with me to CS let me know. Hopefully all I'm coming back with are some eggs for Glambka and hatching eggs for me - blue eggs anyone? Must resist the chicks, eggs for my broodies not chicks too.

Glambka - my Mom has some Pekin ducks. They aren't that old though so I don't know what age they start to lay. I could collect for you when they do though. She also has some Rouen ducks that are a couple years old. Are those usable? We usually use their eggs for baking. Yummy!

My youngest is grilling me on if our chicks are locked up and safe. :(. He's worried about our chicks now. Poor thing.
