Seriously though, Kim, if no one wants/will take him and you're going to lose your chickens over it just let me know.  I'll be down there next weekend and I'll bring him back with me.  I actually have zero roosters right now so if he keeps his attitude in check he can go in with the hens.

But, if you don't really want Chimi then he can come here. We don't eat our animals. AND he CANNOT come in my house to chill. If he needs to chill he can jump in the sheep water tank. My son would love to have him I know. He likes them all. But if Olive really wants him she sure can take him. I have no problem with that LOL.

Olive does NOT want him in any way shape or form. Olive was just trying to be (what she thinks is generally referred to as) "nice" to Kim.

Olive prefers not to feed roosters unless she has plans for breeding them. You know, because they only lay the brown eggs.

ok, I think I have most things figured out for tomorrow - got my potluck food ready to cook, got the address written down. just need to grab the cat carrier... y'know...just in case. I'm not supposed to come home with birds tomorrow but I like to prepare for possibilities. hm. maybe I should grab the live traps, too (what??? they make GREAT chicken carriers!). I dunno. I should behave. I keep looking at pictures of chickens and wanting one of this and one of that. no roosters, though... one is plenty, and even he probably won't get to stay much past first crow. DH tolerates the birds but only so long as they don't interrupt his sleeping in.

you'll know me tomorrow by my rubber chicken purse... though this may be the first time I've ever gone anywhere that other people might possibly have the same one. *gasp*
