Mr. Jersey went home to his new pen. I had to keep him while my son went to his sisters for a few days.

Something awful happened today I was going around the coop and saw that some had dug a hole never where my dog is buried while you guessed it a dog or something tried to dig him up. He died in January. While that was awful I saw the blanket my hubby put over him.

Kimmie
That is awful.

Those stupid coons we have dig everything up. Oh ya, then there's the woodchuck who tries to dig in one of my pens to get the starter feed. It loves it.

Geeze I think I am tired I can't spell. Hahaha.

I think it was my neighbors because they have a bunch of people up with dogs. Everyone that comes up here thinks they can just leave their dog lose. I hope they watch their dogs because my daughter is bringing her dog its huge, a South African Barboil I know this is not how you spell it. They were bred to hunt lions.

Oh wow. You MUST post a pic of it when she gets there with it.

I have a standard rule that I don't take phone calls after 9:00 pm. But I did answer the phone a little while ago when I saw that the caller ID said it was from a friend of mine who is/was in the Army. Erin is a combat medic with three tours in Iraq and is currently state side.

Through the wonder of social media, she knows about my fight with the city over my chickens and called to lend her support. She said that she will come out to help if she can.

I am truly humbled in thinking that a soldier who fought over seas is willing to fight here in town. It really puts things in perspective for me. I'm at a loss for words in expressing my gratitude for those who protect us.

Morning All,
Just finished up watering all my beds and now heading out to feed & water. Just out of curiosity; those of you zoned AG and with roos, what time do yours guys start to sound off?

Usually my roosters don't open up until an hour before sunrise
