Happy Birthday Raz and to Mr. Olive, too.

Decided to move the rhodie that went broodie. She was not happy when I picked her up and was quite noisy until I put her back with her eggs. In candling, I think I only saw 3 that were any good, but I'll wait a week and check again before pitching the others in case I was wrong. Also did a head count and seem to be an ee short. I'll look again tomorrow when I let them out in case she was wedged in between some others.

DH has decided that we *must* go camping this summer. I want to go to the zoo in Detroit. So, does anyone know of a nice campground (tenting, no camper/5th-wheel here) that's withing 45min of the zoo? (One with a pool would be a big plus.)

Kensington or Island Lake... Right off 96... Kensington has a water park!

Two of my ISA Browns are laying. I got 2 nice, dark brown eggs today for my b-day. They are a deep rich brown, not as chocolate as Marans but still pretty dark. It's the little things that make me happy.
