I just had an awful discovery! I went to the garden to water it and had a HUGE surprise. Not only was about 90% of it eaten up but there were several carcasses dug up and feathers were scattered everywhere!!!

Everything but the corn and tomatoes was GONE. Aric says he hasn't had anything eat out of that garden in at least 15 years. At the end of the garden we sometimes bury birds there because it's not usable soil anyway. We buried one there 2 weeks ago that was an old barred rock that we kept around because she was a favorite. She didn't survive the heat and we didn't want her rotting in the trash bin for 4 days so we buried her. Whoever dug her up must have had the scent of others we have buried there in the last several years. What a sight that was.

The other I had recommended last night was Banamine to reduce her fever.  I don't know if the Flumix will act in the same way as I've never used it.  You could try looking it up, but I don't think it's even approved for use in swine.

The vet had told my mom to use that for Bella and Porkchop.

Ok, I do not know how much Porkchop and Bella weighs.

See my previous post. What is the concentration of your Flunix? The info I found under the generic name says 2mL/100 lbs but my Banamine is 1ml/100 lbs. Haven't seen porkchop in a long time but if she's grown normally since we dropped her off she's probably 75 lbs. I can't wager on Bella for you as I've never seen her.
