Does anyone on here collect clocks or trinkets "Made in Occupied Japan"?
I have a blue clock.

Get out! That's awesome!For those of you who asked about the status of Sebastian the skunk, I have good news.
I signed a deal with an Indy film company who is doing one of those animal adventure movies for kids. You know the type, a cat, a dog and a skunk go on some kind of adventure. They meet dragons or unicorns or something as they save the world from evil.
I met with the producer yesterday and she liked that he was tamed and trained and used to having people around him. They left yesterday to go back to Sundance for more training and film production. I get to go out and see the set in a few weeks. How cool is that?![]()
I did ask if they wanted to do a chicken movie, but she looked at me like I was crazy. She did say that if I got a raccoon to give her a call.
Whoda thunk this orphanarium would pay off?
That isn't 12 grams. there are 28 grams in an ounce and that looks to be about 1 3/4 ounces (48 grams).
Or you have a REALLY tiny hand!
I stopped looking when I saw the wedding band.
Really?....REALLY!? I wonder if you're the only person they are harassing like this?The ordinance officer was just here again.
Today's complaints were;
1) Tall flowers out front that need to be cut down;
2) Garage needs to be power-washed and painted or sided;
3) Firewood needs to be 18 inches off the ground;
4) Porch needs to be rebuilt because it is missing several bricks. Bricks that the neighbors took and did not pay for. Bricks that caused me to file a law suit against them for theft.
Then the other neighbor came out to itch and got upset because I pointed out the violations in his yard.
Funny thing is that nothing was mentioned about chickens.
It's going to be a long hot summer here folks. Stay tuned to the comedy antics here in Garden City.
"Garden" "City", is that an oxymoron?
The upside is that I didn't get another ticket, but I have until next Friday to comply or face the consequences.
Power-washing might be a problem since there is a water ban in effect for the entire city. How does one wash a garage and not use water? Am I being obtuse here?![]()

Oh, and someone saw my post and has a hubby who can bring them from MI to this coast - how cool is that!
Come to think about it - that might not be a bad little sideline. There are a lot of breeders out your side, that have birds we don't and vice-versa . . . Hmmm!
SERIOUSLY?? That's just wrong in too many ways!!The ordinance officer was just here again.

HELP!
I have twelve 4 month old BBB turkeys and three almost 3 month old BR turkeys. This is my first year with turkeys and they have been great...until today. Everyone was fine when I locked them up for the night, but this morning when I went out to feed them I noticed one of the BR babies had a leg turned funny. I took her out and looked at it and it looked fine when I was holding her and she ran like crazy when I put her down, like it didn't even hurt, she just had a limp. I tried putting a splint on it but she refused to stand up. I put some vet wrap on it and she still wouldn't stand. When she's standing still she will look like she's straightening it and the other leg is just fine. What should I do?
