We Live in Grand Ledge which is 10 miles west of lansing. Friday April 24 we will be going through the birds and picking out the ones we will be taking so if some one wants to pick some birds before we leave then would be the time.

PM'd you also!!!!!

You're all over it, Rose! But AM said that she's coming to Imlay City on the 25th for the swap there...so I could always pick them up there. That is to say...IF I'm able to get any of them. Thanks so much for that offer...you're the greatest!

I have two little frizzled babies that are hanging out here for a few days before making the next leg of their journey with Rose.

Got home from my girls weekend and left for our 4-H meeting a half hour later! Looks like I missed out on lots of chatter!! My kids show or have shown, dogs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, goats, in the past, llama's, and guinea pigs. I love 4-H!!

Okay----gotta tell how that party was!!!! I have never heard of those.

It was really nice. We had a variety of chocolate food and drinks that they sell. I am hosting a party sometime soon. This division is only 2 years old and won't be available in stores, just home parties. I will have to dig out the website and post it on here.

Off to get kids to bed! Then myself:) Talk to you all tomorrow.
Welcome new folks! Ameraucana mom- we have lavender ameraucana's from John Blehm too. March 2008 they hatched. Just got some from incubating eggs on April 1st.

I have them in the brooder with the geese, since it was the only one set up in the house at the moment. I figured it was the chicks were too small to hurt the goslings and the goslings were too young to hurt the chicks. The chicks are not sure WHAT to think of the geese!!

However, they are eating, drinking and doing fine!!

You can always send a gosling or two home to me with those frizzles...just so they don't have separation anxiety or anything.
