Morning all, the sun in shining now but it supposed to rain later. I'm supposed to be getting my 3 pound package of bees today. I'm super excited! I hope I can get them installed before it rains. Has anyone ever installed bees in the rain before? Maybe I'll just use a huge umbrella. haha

As it is, I was thinking of expanding my garden a little bit. So I had my buddy come out with his large rototiller to help. I ran inside to grab us a couple of beers and come out and he was practically done. He expanded it like 20'x30' more

As it is, we hadn't had any beer yet ha ha

Sorry I haven't been checking in much......been busy. SUPER busy.

Besides my normal work, got the water line to the barn in and backfilled, chicken fence around the garden and tilled it numerous times, Greenhouse (hoop style) has been started, need to find a couple more hoops.

Steve that is very kind of you and I may get in touch with you. Are you having as much trouble coordinating material deliveries as we are. All the local lumber yards have closed and I hate the quality of the lumber and the hassle of buying from Home Depot.

Morning everyone!

All this talk of gardening is great! I am not planting my seedlings yet, they say frost on Mon and I can't cover all of them!

I am rehoming my Buff Brahma rooster.

He jumped on one of the little ones and gave him a scare. I will not take a risk with a rooster with 9 kids running around the yard. If anyone is interested in him let me know. He will be one year in August. He is so beautiful, I hate to see him go. If we don't sell him soon he will be dinner. PM me if you are interested.

I thought about it, but I don't know if I want to go the way of breeding, I really just see my chickens as pets. He would be great for breeding though.
Here is a pic of my rooster I need to rehome. He is also the one in my avatar. He is very big, I would guess him at about 12lbs.
