Caleb! Wow! It sure is quiet tonight. You mean people actually have lives outside of BYC?? That they had the nerve to go out to a movie? Or went bowling?
Don't you miss the good ol days that we sat and chatted with each other and had a few laughs? Teased each other and cried together. Wonder if we'll ever have that again. With warm weather coming, people are outside getting their gardens ready, and cleaning coops and enjoying the sun in their faces. Hope to see you all back in the fall!

Chickens are instant stress relivers. Someone had the BALLS to steal my mail which included my ccard statements and an order of checks out of my mailbox last week. They wrote several checks in town. Thank God I checked my account!! I was soo stressed!! I had to go to the PO, bank -- close my account, set up a new one, order everything new, call all the card holder to cancel and set up new one, and the sheriff's department! All of this took several hours. Then I had to go to work and worry all day. When I finally got home, cracked a beer and cleaned the coop! By the time I was done, I was laughing at the chooks!! Thank God for little pleasures

Sorry so long -- had to get it out!

P.s. The cop said I'd get first crack at this person -- moohahahh (wicked laugh here)!!

Good Morning everyone!
It is going to be a great day!

Me and the two little cowgirls are baking bread for the guys at the feed mill. We are going to bring it down there in a little bit. They were so nice to me when my chickens had a cold last time that I thought we should re-pay them with cinnamon raisin bread!

Tomorrow is the day the rooster hits the pot, I will let you know how much he weighs after we are done.

good morning all! it is gorgeous outside and the birds are all singing like crazy!

gearing up for vacation next week. we are so excited. road trip! woot woot!


Boyd, guess what i am doing ALL w'end? BAKING! Rick is going on a golf trip Mon-Wed with about 20 guys from church. i'm making all the baked goods for breakfasts and snacks. carb-a-licious!
