As a retired fireman I'm used to driving big rigs. I'm thinking were probably up to a Greyhound bus sized vehicle. If we stopped at KFC do you think the smell would scare the chickens on board?

Maybe we could coordinate stop at every BCY member place that has chickens that aren't laying. If all of us sat outside the coop drinking Frosties and eating fried chickens we might just scare their birds into laying. That way we could write off the trip as community service charity.

That means you'll be stopping by at my house. Hurry, now. I need eggs!! I'll have a snack for all you ready. That was dew and doritos, right?

Wendy's frosty's I am tempted to go to town and get one!!!

Caravan sounds like fun, bingo too!

We would be gone for months if we stopped at every BYC member...there are 17,000+ now right?!?

My husband wouldn't watch the kids for that long!!!
And the business would probably go under if he couldn't work:(

So are kids allowed or adults only? Adult only sounds like more fun for me. But the 5 kids would get a good rounded education on how a road trip works!

Brownies and icecream sound good too!

What about give talks at KFC about the benefits of raising your own chicken over commercially raised stuff...we would probably get kicked out though.....

Hello Everyone,
Got back from salmon fishing. Our one son got two and our youngest got three and his wife one. We didn't get anything, but had a good time.
OPA I hope your boy is doing much better. I will pray for him also. God does some wonderous things.
Our trip was nice and the fall colors were just beautiful! I would have liked to go to the Foul Fest, but did enjoy ourselves.
Monday I was talking to a lady asking if she knew anyone who wanted to buy my Rhode Island Red Roosters, or two Bantum Roosters. Then she asked me if I wanted some bantum chicks. I said sure. She needed my number cause the chicks belonged to someone she knew. The lady called and I wound up with 7 chicks and the Mom. She is a Blue Chochin. Now my husband is thinking he needs to build another coop!
God willing, we will get one soon enough. Good to see everyone happy and well.

Would anybody possibly be interested in some Barred Rock pullets? I have an extra half dozen on hand. They are eight weeks old. I ordered slightly more than I needed and counted on not all of them making it through shipping and possibly losing one or two as chicks. Well, I had a 100% survival rate all along the way and I don't want them to become crowded in the next couple of months, so I thought I'd see if anyone would like some.

They are eight weeks old. I'm 99.9% percent sure that they are all pullets at this point. They were inside for the first four weeks and have been outside since then and they have thrived very well, they are all developing very nicely.

I am in Durand and I'm not interested in shipping them. Price is negotiable, I'm only looking for a fair offer. I will consider a taking a cockerel in trade in addition to cash so if anyone has a BR cockerel, that could sweeten the deal for me.

Anyone in MI interested in Procelain Bearded Belgian d'Uccles? I have 5 pair that need a new home. Will only sell in pairs. These are not show quality birds but have possibilities. 2 pair, the nicer ones, $20 ea., the other 3 pair $15 ea.
I also have 2 pair of seramas that need a new home. $20 for a pair or $35 for all. The seramas are nice birds.

I forgot about the 2 banty cochin cockerels. These guys are going to be gorgeous. Unusual color but very striking. Free to good home.

Nope, no camera.

Porcelain d'Uccles are no longer available.
